| Hey guys, sorry for the delay between entries. I haven't had a whole lot going on here lately except for school and work and school and work and school and work and school and work. Then I go to church on Sundays and Wednesdays. Me and Ben tried to make a flamethrower on Sunday but it was unsuccessful. There will be more tests though, I assure you of that. Me and Meredith went to Ron's last Friday. Yeah its a little late news but it was fun. It would have been more fun if she would have let me wear my sweet cowboy hat, bollo tie, and pipe. Last night we went to the Vally View football game. It was really crazy when they actually won, but it was raining. Yeah, we got really wet but still i had fun meeting all of Meredith's friends. | Yep, God has already started working. You know that thing I said about him giving us opportunities. Well, yesterday the principal anounced a mentoring progam the National Honor Society would be starting. i was so excited and God really worked amazingly fast on this one. Be praying for me and all the other mentors. Also pray that God would soften the heart of the student i help to maybe grow in a relationship with Christ. I don't want to help them just academically but spiritually as well.

| Tonite I've just been thinking about how awesome God really is. It's is amazing to believe that within all the troubles going on around this world and maybe even here in Jonesboro that God is in control. I have to remind myself of that every once in a while. A lot of times I feel as if I might not be doing his work well enough and many times that is because it is true. But over these past few months I have learned something. Even though we might not feel we are doing any great works for the Lord, he is still working his perfect plan behind the scenes. We just need to get back on his plan, not our plan for him to do for us. He may show his love through hard labor and work rather than my hopes of actually talking one on one with a person. At school he might show his love in a simple but heartfelt prayer at lunch, that could lead to a faith testing question from a passerby or even a friend. Many times i do not have the time for a long conversation at school, but now I have seen how versitile God really is. We don't have to know all the big words or even the right words to say. God will provide those, and he should because i can't do it on my own. i don't want to do it alone. I want my precious Jesus right there beside me all the way. Wow, he wants to be there beside me too. He wants to be there so much that he died a painful excruciating death to do so. For me God? For me? Why? I will never understand that love, but i do know this! I will spend everyday of my life trying to get deeper in it so that I can show it to other people! People of all color, of all class, poor, and rich, evil, and righteous, lustful, and pure! This love is to great to hide! I must give it away! You did. So why should I be any different? | | |
| Today was a really long day. I went to church this morning and it went good. I was very happy to see Ben there because I knew Bill was out of town and I thought Ben was going to the Lake. We played some pretty rockin' songs that really needed Ben's amaing face melting bass leads. After church a few of us went to Tomales and I sat on a cactus trying to be funny. Later on I dicovered that I had about 20 very sharp thorns in my pants. Ben would not help me pick the thorns out that had gone through my pants, so I had to get them myself. I guess I really don't blame him. After the evening service we ate at Wendy's, and now I find myself typing to the sounds of Blindside's Silence album. Ahh the sweet sweet nector. Anyway i hope everyone has a good day at school tomarrow. Oh and by the way:

| Well, it was a good but sad night. I had to say goodbye to the best and closest friends in my life. I just want these friends to know how much I thank them for all their kindness, understanding, late night talks, support, friendship, prayers, and love. I could go on forever. I know this will be a tough, but exciting time in all of our lives and I am willing to keep a strong faith! I will be praying for each of you to have the same heart. No more tears, just remember the good times and faith building relationships.
